High School Prefectural Representatives Meeting
On March 5th, first-year high school students held a "Prefectural Representatives Meeting". This project was conceived by first-year high school student Hatsune Osawa from her Project Studies research theme, "How to increase participants in MUNK (Model United Nations Kumon)." In Model UN, participating students take on the roles of ambassadors from various countries around the world. In the "Prefectural Representatives Meeting," students take on the roles of representatives from their respective prefectures, thus making it easier for students participating in the discussions.
Although the time was short, about two hours, both experienced MUNK participants and inexperienced students actively made statements and expressed opinions, seriously addressing the theme of "measures against the declining birthrate."
