International Exchange International Exchange

Our school actively promotes international exchange programs in order to foster healthy, competent, and well-rounded individuals who can actively contribute to global society.

We host short-term international students from overseas, encouraging interactions during regular courses like English and Home Economics. After school hours, students build even deeper bonds through cultural and athletic exchanges such as Tea Ceremony, Kendo, and Rugby hosted by respective school clubs. Additionally, our International Understanding Education Committee has previously organized dedicated slots during grade-level assemblies to let exchange students introduce their home countries.

Furthermore, some long-term international students reside directly in our on-campus student dormitories. They deepen mutual understanding and engage with peers through daily life outside the classroom, sports tournaments, and versatile grade-level events.

Having exchange students in such close proximity provides our student body with invaluable opportunities to encounter and utilize authentic, living English. We believe that experiencing both the joy of successfully communicating in English and the struggle of failing to convey an idea clearly is deeply meaningful. These firsthand experiences directly elevate students' motivation for English language learning. Moreover, these opportunities serve as an excellent foundation for learning to acknowledge and respect individuals from diverse backgrounds, greatly contributing to the advancement of their social skills.
