International Exchange

At Kumon, we actively promote international exchange in order to develop healthy and talented human resources who can play an active role in the international community.

We accept both long and short-term international students from all over the world. They take part in many classes and school events and many study Japanese using the Kumon Method. Our students have a chance to learn about another culture and introduce Japanese culture to them using both Japanese and English.

In addition, some long-term international students live in the school's dormitories. Exchange students and Kumon students get to interact with each other through daily life outside of school through sports competitions and other events.

Kumon students will get to understand the importantance of trying to communicate in English even if you cannot speak it well. That experience will also motivate them to learn English.
