First year high school student, Ms. Miyabe has won an excellence award in the "National High School Student Business Idea Contest 2021" for high school students which is run by JF Oberlin University.

Her proposal was to make eco-friendly lunch-boxes for use as  in-flight meals. At present, in-flight meals are responsible for producing huge amounts of plastic waste which is destructive to the environment.

As part of her “Project Studies” thesis, Ms. Miyabe investigated in-flight meals and why they had become popular amongst the general public during the pandemic. She wrote her thesis in English.
